Another Clean Project.......Nice Work!

Couple of Q's Nailsbeats.......What were your thoughts on using a Port-a-wrap intead of the GRCS? And, were you using clove hitches, running bowlines, or slings and carbiners on the large pieces?

One handing the saw at 4:25 of the video. Oh my God, that is terrible, never have I one handed a saw...........Excellent work man. Good for you.

Don't make me go back and find that thread where you cut yourself once, one handing. Am I right?:chainsaw::D

If you look close, you'll see he was actually trying to head butt that piece. :bang:

That's a good idea.

Thanks for the vid Nails.

The sturdiest place to rig to was pretty low, that is why a lot of those pieces were butt hitched and tipped over.

With the GRCS, you want to get as high as possible, giving you that lift advantage even on a tip tied load. We didn't have that until we got to the tops out, and then it wasn't worth setting it up since I already had the porty on.

I could have used the bollard in the beginning and then switched to the winch, forgetting the portawrap altogether, but didn't.

The larger pieces had a half hitch with a running bowline on them. The tagline was using a running bowline until I tied a sling with a krab to the end of it so he could just clip it on.

lol.

hey man, how come you are scared of that 2hunge? nails beef it up too much for you to handle?

good work on the tree.

Dirt,

A mans strength should not be judged by the color of his saw. One time I wrestled a giraffe to the ground with my bare hands! Plus i can't get my meat hooks in the handle with my winter gloves. I'm glad it works for you and the Beats. out :agree2: with myself
