I have another 2 Stihl 08's sitting here for part saws. 1 is a chainbreak style and this one I am going to use. Just a shame that I have to split another saw for some. Yes this one has seen better days but still a shame.
Has anyone every used paint stripper on their saw case ? If so did it work ok ? and did it hurt the Magnesium case all ? Was thinking that I might use paint stripper first on the cases to get the top layers off and then use the blasting cabinet to remove the rest.
I have glass bead in the cabinet now and on the alloy stuff it's great but it doesn't really do much to the coating on the outside of the saw..
