Hi All !
i am the proud new owner of a super 55a i picked up at a yard sale for 50 bucks. i knew the guy ,he traded for it and swore it ran. well it does! if you pour mix directly through it. the gaskets are rock hard and even my hometown NAPA dealer, Chuck, who is renowned for his ability to be able to find ANYTHING, cannot help me. apparently this carb does not exist in any publication available to us. it must be what they call the "early mcculloch type". it closely resembles a walbro mac but not close enough. i really would like to cut with it since i know it runs. i tried sending Mcbob a description with pix but do not know if he has checked his e-mail since his vacation or if my e-mails bounced. anyway,i am hoping that someone can tell me if a kit can be found or a carb that could replace it is available. if not, it will be for sale. thanx in advance for any info.
