Added four to the family today. I took them home and found out none had gas or oil in them, so threw some gas in 'em and took off the air filters after checking the plugs, and 3 out of the four started. I got a Stihl 08, not sure if it's an s or not, an old Craftsman, a Homelite, and a Mac. Everything is not together in the pictures but it's all there. The Mac is the one that didn't start. The spark plug wire is screwed up. The Stihl 08 is sweet, but needs some work, but hell it runs. All for $100, so I'm feeling pretty good.

Well I found a new chainsaw dealer this weekend. They sell shindaiwa and makita but the coolest thing was that he had twin cylinder chainsaw. I think it was a echo. It was pretty sweet. He also had 2 wright chainsaws with the reciprocating chain thingy. He said his cousin used one for cutting up cows. He seemed to have good deals on used saws too, a husky 51 for 125, a 025 with a new bar 150 and a near new makita dcs38 for 150.

Way to messy inside the chain cover to use a "conventional" chain saw... but you wouldn't need bar oil :buttkick:

Not if you use the custom cover. In Will Maloff's book look at the cover on his Stihl. Just enough to hold the bar in place. If you do that it won't get all clogged up with "used cow parts". Might turn you into a vegetarian, though. Oh...and stand way off to one side as much as you can.
