I broke out my old 154 Husky yesterday, tossed on a new 20 inch square chisel chain....it cuts like a dream. I retired it years ago, but shortly after replacing the jug and piston, if I recall.
Not only is the saw in need of several parts, but somehow yesterday the top cover and choke lever got smashed. Funny, as it was 30 feet from the tree being removed, which was only a 30 foot holly, and nothing was dropped near it. Maybe one of us behemoths trod on it in an unruly fashion.
So, if anyone has an old 154/254 lying around, I'd be a happy camper.
