Need a few 281xp parts

Came across a 281xp today and I need a couple parts to complete it.

1) decent top cover
2) old style chain brake assembly
3) rubber crank case bellows
4) clutch

All but the chain brake stuff can be had new from the dealer.

Got the top cover and clutch today. I've got 2 Husky dealers locally and neither could get the crankcase bellows. Both said it was no longer available. Looked all over the 'net for one, but no luck yet.

You looking for the av rubbers or the seals? The seals are available aftermarket. They fit the 394 also.

Nope. Just the boot that covers the hole where the throttle rod comes into th he airbox. It is apparently called a "bellows" in the ipl.

Ok I was confused. See if its still available for a 288

Maybe it the distributorship, but bellows are absolutely still available. I bought a couple less than three months ago. I just found them online for $4.26ea.

I'll have to look harder then. Where did you find them nmurph?

Found it. I was searching a number that was for a smaller bellows by the choke. A 3 where a 6 should have been in the part# gave rise to the confusion.Ran me $5.13 for the right one. Thanks for the help in finding it.
