My first post. I snapped the ear off the governor this morning. We now have 4 broken chippers and had to rent one for a week. Looking for a governor for asplundh about 68-72 6cyl.

Any belt drive governor for a 300 ford will work, they are not year specific

Call a local junkyard, they are sure to have something.

Believe it or not, we found a guy who can weld cast aluminum and got the governor back on and the chipper is running.
