I'm removing a Sycamore tree for a family in St. Louis. The man of the house is a wood worker. He wants me to mill the log for him. It's to big to fit in my LT15. I'm looking to hire someone to either mill the whole log up (quarter saw) Or to 1/4 the log and I can finish it in my Woodmizer.

Thanks Scott

We have one at the moment at our place in Godfrey Il. sawing up a big Oak. It's not ours it's my Brother in-law's............. It's one he built from scratch and it seems to do pretty good for what he's got in it.
Do you have a way to transport it, load it etc.?
I'll talk to him later and see if he thinks his saw is up to it being it's on it's "maiden" voyage and might need some fine tuning. But I'm impressed and my hat's off to the guy I think he's quite the genius.
If you want you can email me at [email protected] I know we "chatted" before about firewood prices around St. Louis and Craigslist.
