anyone using the weaver cougar. I weigh about 230 . The weaver floating double d is so durable Im having a hard time trying to find another saddle that will last. but I would like a little more comfort. It seems like if you get comfort you lose durability. cougar is 200 at wespur.. floating double D is $165. cougar is also a replacable rope bridge. bridge rope is supposed to be rated for 13,000. That is what I was told over the phone

One of the guys that works for/with me has a cougar (witch was what i was planning on buying). It was more comfortable than my Weaver DD, but wasn't super impressed. Felt a ton lighter on me and didn't droop any, but just not for me.

I've been useing a glide II for a few months now and I like it a lot. Vary comfortable. Since I switched to biners and got read of those heavy clips on the ends of my lines I really appreciate the rope bridge. I used a linesman belt for years so I'm easy to please. I tryed out a butterfly but it didn't seem to offer much support or look like it would last vary long.

I am considering getting a new saddle also.
I do a lot of big removals. I have to carry an 026 or 046 3-4 hours.
Do the light weight belts dispearce the load around your hips well?

Sequoia for trimming and squirrelling around veeeery light weight,a little scary.
Weaver floating d for removals. Hang a 395 off of it all the time. Both pinch the pod a little but it is tree work and I don't think it's ever gonna be pain free.

My pinnacles.

hey if you looking for a new saddle man you should check out what i am currently climbing in. if you like your pinnacles this saddle comes pretty darn close to it. has a ventral attachment point too. (lovely option to have if i may say so myself)

petzl miniboss.

wesspur got a couple large ones left i think. they dont make them anymore.

thing is a fly ride for sure.
