Need a stihl part number - rivets

the three rivets to replace the sprocketnose tip on ES bars. 3/8 .050 if it matters.

dealer spent 20 minutes looking it up, or rather, trying to look it up. Bugger made me eat 3 ice cream bars watching him. computer and printed manual. nothing.

Also, if the part number is printed somewhere? where exactly so i can go and show him...

They are listed in the Dealer Support Manual on the page titled "Guide bar replacement parts" - last page in the "Saw Chain and Guide bars" section.


ES 3/8 50 rivets are most likely 0000 974 0503. You need the exact bar and sprocket nose assembly part number to be sure.

Just how many different rivet sizes are there for the bars - you'd think they'd standardize it... wouldn't happen to have a scan of the page handy, woodja? or a copy of the whole manual? [wink wink]

There's only about 4 different bar rivet sizes, and if you have an ES replaceable tip, only one... the 0000 974 0503.. The rest are for other bars/sprockets.

Gotcha. Like the 4 or 6 for the sprocketnose itself...
