I have another thread about using a pole or similar to store chainsaws, but now I'm looking at other alternatives. I have a smaller shop and need the extra space on the floor... where I normally keep my saws.

I'd like to get ideas on how to store my chainsaws within the shop that saves space, but are easy access. What method(s) are you using?

Any tips, suggestions, etc, that you can help me with, I'd appreciate it. I need the room!

Thanks,

Get a 4X6, plunge a slot in for each saw, and mount the beam on a frame. Now you are storing them vertically, I know a guy with one on casters.

Now that's an idea John!

I was thinking of something similar, but attach a 4x4 to the ceiling joist. The caster idea is slick too, allowing for mobility.

We'll see. I like the 4x6 idea better.

Thanks!
