No. Using loop runners is very slow and not stable. On palms that require spikeless and I cannot get my spider lift to it, I use an 32 ft. extension ladder to get as high as I can with that. If I need to go higher I use strap on tree steps. You can get 15 of them for $85 from Amazon.com, shipping included. You can find them a little cheaper elsewhere, but after you add the shipping, those places will be at least $15 higher. With the ladder and tree steps you can go over lights, cables and other things people like to put on palm trunks.
Be sure to charge a lot more because any method to climb a palm spikeless will be a lot slower than spiking. The best method is of course a lift, but that is not always possible.
