I would like to find a source for the stamped metal/aluminum ID plates for the older McCulloch saws. Even a heavy decal would work. The plates that I am talking about are the black plates with the saw model stamped into it, i.e. 250, 610, on the top part of the saw in front of the handle--these plates always seem to come up missing & are generally only glued on at the factory. Thanks For Any Help---BILL IRVINE
Parts source (for decals):
Hi Bill. If you want contact Frank Sadlion. He's listed on Mike's site. Apparently he can make up or has sources to recreated decals for chainsaws. His email address is:
[email protected]. I contacted him to meke up some decals for my Disston. The problem is I have no exact picture of the decal for him to work from. If you have an exact representation, photograph, of the metal tab (size, shape, etc). I think he would work with you on making up some sort of decals for your saws. Just send him an email. Take care. Lewis.
