I spent a little time degrading the moral fabric of tree guys in general in my last post, or it would seem that way...I just wanted to clarify one thing. Although we are a bunch of self-centered egomaniacs...there is no one group of people that take more pride, or has more confidence in facing challenges than tree guys.
Also, if you are successful in this business, (not measured monetarily but by survival) you have to be intelligent, courageous, and most of all able to project yourself into your work in a competitive, and agressive manor. These characteristics are hard to find in the general public, and to bring a group of people like this in one place is an amazing thing.
It is a good thing we sit behind computer screens to voice our opinions sometimes. If we all were face to face, we would either keep silent our opinions, or end up coming to violence. This media in some ways is more honest and open than most meetings in person, (if the people involved have any moral fabric at all).
Another amazing quality about tree guys....We are always right. Even though we may change our minds....we weren't wrong the first time. LOL
