I have for sale an nice Efco 962.Woods ported by Dave Neiger. Saw has approximately 15 Hrs on it. Not a race saw but a good strong woods saw, would make someone a great firewood saw.
The only thing I know of wrong with it, there is a small peace missing out of the bar cover (bottom of the clutch cover you can see it in picture 1).
I will offer a money back guarantee. You buy the saw run it, you don’t like it send it back in the same condition as sent, money back.
It will come with a good 16” 3/8 .050 bar and new chain. (The bar was actually a .325 and I changed the nose sprocket to 3/8 that’s why it has a new tip)
Like to have $375.00 OBO + “actual” ups shipping
PM or email me with any questions both options are open in my profile Thanks Eric
Reason for selling to many saws and not enough $.

Efco never heard of it. Who makes it? What cc is this saw?

Hi the saw is made in Italy very well made. Its 61.5 cc.
The saw is fast runs extremely well runs real close to my 357xpg.
Walker I wouldn't be selling it but I like the Neigerized 357xpg better those heated handles are real nice option.
Anyhow this is a great deal on this saw with a money back guarantee.
Someones gain and my lose.

That`s a good price for that saw. An unmodified 962 is about that price.

Eric, remember when you offered to sell it to me about three months ago for $600, just to get it into my hands so I could see what a great saw it is. :D Add fishing to your list of hobbies. LOL!

962 is here!

I wanted to give feedback on this transaction. I received the saw yesterday via UPS. Packaging was great, and a few extras goodies were thrown in with the saw. I haven't had a chance to bite some wood with this saw, but I hope to do some felling soon. I hope to soon give my amateur opinion of this saw vs a Stihl 036, but for now I honestly believe I have a real winner!

Thanks much, woodsjunkie.

I'm really happy with the saw. Power is more than adequate. I was pleased with the lack of vibration and easy starting. The only gripe I ever had was the saw leaked bar oil when I put the saw up for storage, but as I began to use the saw more often, the leak stopped fully.

I am not a professional. I have cut down roughly 40 pine trees (ranging from 10-20" dbh), and diced up numerous hardwoods.

The most usual complaints about those saws are the anti-vibe and fit/finish, otherwise they are held in high regards - but this only applies to the 62cc version........

What could be done for better air filtration? I don't like the fine silty wood dust powder build up in the throat of my carb. That and on off switch is not much use, I wish I could throw a on off switch of a different design in to the saw, does a husky switch work? I got rid of all my huskys and one stihl to make room for more efcos, so all I have is the cheap emak/efco switch's
