New 201T-CM mods

I recently picked up a new 201T-CM. I’ve read some conflicting information on what works best on these newest iterations. It seems like the muffler mod is still recommend, but some are saying to avoid adjusting timing with the latest M-Tronics. Any thoughts? Thanks everyone
