Just recently bought a used 350 Husky and a new 346xp NE/triobrake. I have a few questions that may be answered somewhere but was not successful finding them using the search box and lots of reading.

346xp 20" stock bar and chain?
1. Is a 20" bar too much for my 346xp? I know its new, but it just doesn't feel like the bad a$$ that I have read about.
2. Would a ported muffler be ok to jump to or would you just go with the non epa muffler then do a port later if I don't like the stock non cat one.
3. Found a ported muffler on ebay for $85 is this good or would you definitely just go stock non cat version?
350 18" bar not sure about chain?
1. This saw feels good, and cuts good but when starting sometimes when you pull to start it the rope sticks unwound and its kind of a pain to get it to wind back up. Is there something wrong with the compression release, or is it a rewind issue.
2. This saw has an 18" bar on it. Would I be happier with a 16"?

Now I am just a home owner but plan to heat my small home with firewood (found plenty of good free wood from friends, relatives, craigslist) With just these two saws; what would be your suggestions for bars and chains for firewood? I have looked on Bailey's online and bout the only thing I can afford is the arbor pro series combos(are they any good?) I know what your thinking "this guy just spent a ton of money on two chainsaws and he can't buy bars for them?" I got a really good deal on both of the saws, but I just cant spend a lot of money on them because of all the stuff I have to buy (sharpening tools ect.)

Not sure if I want to keep the 20" Husky replaceable sprocket tip bar for felling/cutting bigger stuff or not. Thank you for your opinions! If all this is covered somewhere else you know of, just post a link and thread over.
