new 346xp tips over easy

Can I put 357xp dogs on my new 346xp without any modification to them? Has anyone done this to stop the saw from tipping over? I think the longer dogs would keep the front of the saw from getting beat up. I put a 18'' sugihara bar on it so I am not concerned with the reduced cutting length of the bar. Thanks to all.

If i owned a 346 i would put a kickstand on it. maybe if you mix a little viagra in the wtih the fuel it will stand up straight.

Pretty much. Sort of like the Jack Russel terrier, the 346XP thinks it's a 395XP.

I installed the large set of dogs for a 357 on my 346. You need to cut out 11mm out of the outer dog reweld and grind a little to fit in the clutch cover and allow the bar nuts to seat flat. If you do a search there is a thread out there on this very issue.

On some of the hillsides we cut on it can be a nagging problem.
Since I bought the 261 the problem has been solved, the 346xp stands tall and salutes the 261 whenever it is present. Troll is going to be in disbelief when he finally runs one, otherwise it's like an ostrich with it's head in the sand.
At least the 346 is getting some well deserve r&r now.

All joking aside we just shut our 346 anytime we set it down and usually find a limb end to stick under the case to level it so it won't roll over, on some of our hillsides it might wind up at the bottom of the hollow.
