sound blocking adds to the soundwave load. they just occur at a frequency that acts to cancel the annoying sound.

Yep, that's the electronic type I'm thinking of; too many cobwebs, but I thought they were most effective with lower frequencies, while high frequencies are absorbed easily enough by mechanical means that things like plain muffs or earplugs were quite effective anyway.

It came with a Stihl RMC chain on it.

Only wood making her strut has been this beech I've been cutting. The oak is like soft butter with a hot knife. LOL.

Ordered 3 LGX chains and a hand sharpening kit.
