New Evidence! Poulan Far Better Than Stihl or Husqvarna

I own many of those saws and like them for what they are. I would certainly chose one over an 015. I was using two of them as my brush saws last winter. This winter they will be replaced by an 024 and 026. New to me toys so the Poulans sits on the shelf with it's family members.

With a full tank of gas and bar oil in it. 16" oregon bar and stihl rs chain. Dirty with saw dust and oil caked on it. It weighs 13.8 LBS pounds.

Then I guess 12 lbs is more accurate than 5.7 kg.....

not only is it a better saw, but when you do need parts they run about a 1/3 to 1/2 of what Stihl wants for a similar part. I had a Stihl dealer tell me they had good antivibe (compared to Stihl???). How much for a 026 pulse line? Shoot for a 3000 Poulan get the bulk roll out, hack off a bit, Merry Christmas.
Truly a decent saw, shame they are not made any longer. The late ones (ie. 330) have crudy spikes, 1/2 bar nuts, and a bulky filter cover that is uneeded.
