Guy said he wants to trade a new echo 2511PN. So when new 4910 gets here. I am to get it out. Check over.
Test it stock and check tune where at stock.

Then muffler mod and retune and test. Then ship it off.

Amazing stuff.

4910 I took on trade to go with the 2 501’s and hack ported 490.

Swear never even made a cut before.

All they need to keep fines out is this nickle o-ring. You can add grease to base of af mount too but didnt see a reason to to date. Been doing this on these since 2022.
So one going in right away too.

Echo 4910 PHO weight dry and like new clean.

The both tanks filled up PHO

Then both tanks filled up and 16" oregon versacut 325 050 C33 chain.

Tune was so off from factory again. Idle 4400, lazy bogging L Side to lean. H to fat in Mid 11’s again.
So a real Turd if someone bought it to use. As is. Smh.

I’ve had 2 now I would throw if tried to use the way they came. Horrible not usable at all.

Echo mufflers are stuffed up on some models.

Least the clone 2511 by v-modest is a open free flowing muffler with little pipe already stock.

Looks like my 576xp muffler. Just drilled a 5/8" hole through the baffle and it flows so much better. Really woke up the saw

Only wording this this way because guys in another group was saying they just love plastic handles.

For those guys that were saying they just love the plastic handle stuff better on 4910 490.
Well here is your chance to own a plastic set cheap.
Shipping prob cost more.

Echo 501 rubber coated set put on that vibrating plastic handle saw.

All fasteners used on the plastic handle have to be shortened to use with the better lighter metal handle.

If the open port clone had the 325 043 or the 3/8LP 050 set up with Egan pipe I think it would be real close.

I run the 1/4" 043 mini micro for smooth pruning cuts. Watching the sides of cuts the 325 043 narrow kerf is going to do this too.
Not all chattering like 3/8LP does.

Plus gave me a chance to cut some apple wood for the smoker.
I also cut on the bigger wood their setting on too.

I will be buying the V-modest rear handle when it comes out.
