you suck--bragging--or complaining?????:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:
Very nice indeed, but I couldnt haul much firewood in that thing, and it would look funny with a 5th wheel hitch mounted to the roof.
And Ale, that XL is not that easy to find especially a long bed and I prefer my trucks without carpet!
Them yuppies can keep there carpet and shortbeds.
Scooter, that ones cool also, I guess I need one of them now!
Jake I raced them Fords for many years also. Won my share.
Lee, I could be wrong I guess, you don't seem like a yuppie!
Cliff, thanks for posting those pictures, and it looks like the air filter is mostly original.
I cant make out what is between the 2 plates though that mine seems to be missing.
Mark, Nice looking saw. Definitely a collector piece. The only way it would look nicer is if it had a Bowtie on the side.
Heres the pics Mark.
What yours is missing is a foam filter. Theres two spacers that fit
between the two plates witch was part of the foam filter.
Mine was falling apart when I took it off so I made a new one.
I made it out of foam like sponge. I made it a little thicker then
the spacers are tall so when I bolted it togather it fit snug in there.
Thanks alot of going through the trouble of taking that apart and photographing it for me.
I see clearly what it needs now.
i recieved one of these saws a while back from an old timer , he said he used it very little and put it up , i cleaned it up and sat it on shelf .. anyone got any good stihls for trade holla at me ,, plus i got a box full of old two cycle engines for planes with the props still on em , they were my dads , found em when cleanin out shop in a old rubber made pan, they where way too cool to part with . if time permits i will drag em out and take pics ..
