Mine's a 1600,two cylinder.....yours a 1510?Does it have the two cylinder?I've heard bad things about the later model Subihara three cylinders having a high incidence of overheating and cracking heads.

And you're very right, that saw will look dandy on the back yours:cheers:

Yeah its a 1510 3 cyl. Its a 86 and I got it in 87 with 24 hrs on it. Never done nothing to it other then change the oil and filters. Well I did have to replace the front tires on it this week but I dont think that counts.

Thats the main reason I wanted this Ford saw was to go with my little tractor.

The new truck was just icing on the cake and I get rid of the Dodge its replacing tomorrow. Good riddince I say.

Wow,mine's a '76...it was 30 years old when I got it with 1800 hours on the proof meter, runs like a champ. Was looking at a 1210 before but then I started reading up on them and the really small 3 cylinders (16 horse) were iffy so I passed.

Mine's a 25 horse,what have you under the hood?

Not trying to hijak your thread Mark,Ford tractors and Ford saws seem to go together nicely LOL:cheers:

Couple of real nice small Ford Tractors you guys have there.
I use an old 8n for wood haulin and blade work. The only real draw back with it, is that it doesn't have live hydraulics, so I use a Ford 5000 diesel to run my 3pt. splitter.

Gregg,

Couldn't resist.

Ford 1920

Kind of a funny story that happened around here probably 10-15 yrs ago.
The Ford & JD dealers are right close to each other up off I-75, both had theft problems over the years.
One night sombody stole a loader tractor from the Ford dealership, drove it over to the JD dealer, and loaded up a number of crated garden tractors and made off with them..LOL Quite the industrious thieves I must say.

Sorry Mark, For the thread Hi-jack, somehow got from a Ford chainsaw thread to tractors...:dizzy:

Without looking it up I think my 1510 is right at 25HP under the hood and a little more then 20HP at the pto?

Keeping it on track, how many HP is the little Orline/Ford saw? LOL

Scooter, thats nice, my neighbor has a 1630 (I think) that I borrow now and then when I need a loader!
