Hmm.. maybe it will grow on me.
Right now think it was launched a bit early, a few broken items that pop up right away.
Go into profiles, and look around. You will see a lot of the tabs are missing text. Still seems to work but the text labels are missing.
Might find other stuff.
Oh well.. guess as somebody said it is inevitable.
And the spell checker is a download, and presumably some add on for your browser. Not sure what was wrong with the old one.. some web developer thought they had a brilliant idea.. frankly the browsers get more than enough crap add ons, don't need another one. Somebody let some silly a$$ web developer put in a bunch of %&#@ that adds no value, but looks cool to them.
And the first time I did a spell check.. it took me to another site to download the checker.. and ran it. But then upon use IE (I am running version 9 on laptop) it prompted me if it could run, ok likely first time use only.. but the the webpage wiped the message clean - blank window.. so here goes 2nd time.. and it did work.. the only added value to the checker that I can see is a personal dictionary (where you can add words - not a big deal - and frankly they could do same on server side more effectively because now if I use a different computer any new words will not be on it)...
Putting in icons does not work properly.. especially if you try to put up into earlier portion of message, posts it on a line or two below, in middle of a word. And when I tried right at end.. and yess could see flashing cursor.. and even did a couple of carriage returns to get space in the message.. but guess what.. it posted right at beginning (tried it 3 times)..
When editing, moving cursor is slow and somewhat unresponsive.. reminds me of some of the kids today..
So lets try a manual face to see if that works
Seems you can delete a message now, have not tried that yet.
When entering forum.. screen is full of ads!! Not too impressive..
Change yes.. progress.. not sure.
