Just curious if you're reading Darin, what made you opt for a fixed width?

good eyes, neither one works with me anymore anyway. useless as tits on a bullfrog.

I need good help bad. work will start back up in a couple weeks, as usual, where the hell is matthew? jail in Germany, I'm guessing. hope not, that boy can rock a tree.

I'm sure they will work the bugs out, to some extent, but like Toddppm pointed out, points for referrals?:monkey::monkey:

this will probably blind that geezer ROPE......:D looks like my yard, all this white.

I am already blind but geezer:rant:

I play on a few forums for all sorts, most have changed at least once in the years I've been on them.

Whats lacking here(that I've read )is response from the admin, theres loads of good constructive critisism to listen to and respond.I'm sure all formats can be tweaked to please the masses.

I usually only hover around a few forums ( 3 or 4 maybe at most)..

But today clicked on the link "Today's Posts" just for fun..

Wow!!

There are threads in some of the forums titled:
"A thread about nothing " --- we at least title our a little more obscure in here :hmm3grin2orange:

"Looking for newbies to rep " -- WTF -- :blob2:

lots of others.. those two popped out.. course lots of comments about new format -- seems to be in many forums..

Man, I really dont wanna complain too much, but its sure is hard not to.. seems like they destroyed this site to me - just as I was getting used to the pic thing and all too! I dont care what anybody says, this cant be good! Just look at the comercial climbing forum, all gay lookin and pastel.. it like the forum lost all its bite, like its on anti-depressants or some ####. I'm sorry, but I look at the threads on the page that we all know, I have to make myself click on them now almost!

####ing change! blaahh.. :angry2:

Give em time. Being between Christmas and New Years is a busy time for everyone. ;)

Well yes.. busy time I guess..

But.. on other hand.. one might think that when launching something there might be issues (bugs, whatever you want to call em).. and one might think you would want to respond to them as quickly as possible.

So, one might assume that when planning to launch a new site, whoever the project manager is would take this into account and have a solution thought out in advance. Unless of couse this is their first time doing this.. or doing something this big.

It might also be prudent to let a couple of the old guys try it out in a test area first.. have seen other sites that ran both in parallel - let users try the new one first while the old was still running.. gives time to get bugs out, listen to the issues, and maybe fix the major ones before taking old one down.

Or even phase it in slowly, and let users decide by pushing a button if they want new look and feel..

What makes you think they didn't?
Jeff :)

Oh they might have.. would expect they did.

Although the user acceptance testing appears a little lacking.. but maybe only a preception.

And last part appears lacking.. again maybe I was sleeping..

Looks lke they are still working on it..

Just saw "credits" and "savings" appear on left side of post for each user.

Not sure what they mean, assuming "credits" are somehow related to the reps, etc..

Savings. Not sure.. looks like some of our bank accounts right now.

Is it just me, or are the bars on the side smaller now? lol.

That's a little better anyways..

Someone else here posted that you can control the size of the bars by pressing control + or - on the keyboard.

Hmm.. the credits are now single digit numbers.. some negative and some positive. They were in the millions when I first noticed them.. ( Jeff you had over 3 million :) )..

And the savings are not displayed any longer!!

Oh well, must mean something to the big guys..
