Has any one had any experience with the new Husky 338XPC "California Special"? I posed the question briefly in a another part of the site and did not get much of an answer. The saw is only sold in California for what reason I'm not sure unless it has something to do with their Pollution Control or something. I have e-mailed Bailey's and this saw is built with a 49 cc displacement in a 338XPT Tree saw body. 8.1 lbs and about 2.7 hp. Everyone Ive talked too says that the 334/335/338 xpt's are junk. Just wondering if Husky may have addressed the problems with the other models in this saw. I would appreciate anyones input. :Monkey:

I just bought a 338xpc from Bailey's. I don't have a lot of time on it yet, but I have no complaints. The California special is a good saw in my opinion, go for it. :blob2:

Thanks Red keep me updated. I'd like to know if the little powerhouse lives up to its groundsaw big brothers reputations.
