They are both on the program and will be with us for a while. Keep in mind that this chassis got the strato treatment a couple years ago and are therefore EPA compliant. The replacement is coming, but it's not as urgent as with the 346/2153 and 359/2159 families.

Obviously not!

the 260 will set upright no problem with the bar mounted, and we all know you might as well lay the 346 on its side, because that is how it will end up. so the balance and center of gravity thing is nothing more than a myth to cover up the fact that husky has not, or does not desire to make an inboard clutch work on a saw, while all other manufactures have. ..................... having the clutch and break mechanism on the outside only complicates a simple design, and them there is the whole "sideways balance" thing, what a bunch of poo poo!!!

I should hope and want my smaller Husqvarna saws to lay on there side, for they will spend most of there life running and being used on there sides.

The inboard clutch on all my bigger Husqvarna saws works fine, and truly fail to see any reason why having a brake mech on the outside complicates a simple design, especially when the clutch is outboard the brake had better be!

Extra e-clips for the 372xp and the MS361 is part of my "standard wood package"

Along with bar nuts, spark plug and filters, etc. 'E'-clip is not much to add.

I like the way my Husqvarna runs, I just prefer to work on the STIHLS. I also don't like the chain brake built into the sprocket/clutch cover. Did not know that the 372 was inboard - now I really want one!
