well, agaist my better principles I bought a new 6401 off fleabay. I couldn't pass it up with the price. It arrived and looks perfect. Hoping to cut some large oak this weekend once I get a new chain for it.

When I stumbled upon this site I had two saws, an 034super and an old 08S. Now I've got a 6401, 5100s, 028av, 034super, 034 project saw, poulan wildthing (don't ask why) and a TS350 concrete cut off saw.

At least once all the oil reserves run out I'll still have firewood for heating.

You can now have a $500 7900, and make back some money selling off your 6400 jug and piston!

Clearly, you saw disease is in the early stages. If not treated soon, the list will only get longer:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Let us know how you like the 6401!
