Hello Fellas,

I was just messing around on the net and I found a whole forum of people that do what I do. Awesome!! I've been cutting trees professionaly for twenty years, but been around it all my life.

I know some people on other forums are all about "true climbing" and that's great. I've see some of the other forums today and I picked this one because I feel that this forum has discussions about many parts of the tree business, Including money,wages and such, bidding, chainsaw choice and just a general love for the business. I love that stuff It's been great reading many of your stories and I hope to add some of my own.

I'm looking forward to learning and contributing

Glad it worked out. Now ya gotta figure out "Rep", and set your topics so ya don't get clobbered with E-mails.

Not a tree trimmer though.
Jackape maybe. The only thing I trim are Blueberry Bushes by the acre.
Been known to drop a tree or two for fuel and field clearing however.

You should be busy this week... Lotsa casualtys from yesterdays blow.

The incredible vaccum of ignorance and stupidity from Detroit, combined with all the Liberal outgassing from the great Compost heap known as Chitcago, creates quite a westward breeze through here....then we have the wind off the lake. That's why there are so many tree services around here.

Not much work down here though. Folks are all broke and doing things themselves with ladders and wild thingys.

Welcome to a crowd of real tree people. Seriously man you have just discovered a plethora of knowledge and information you had no clue of before. Use these guys for all they are worth. Ask when you don't know and learn everything you can. I know i have taken ton's away from these guys that helped me tons. Even if it was just sympathy after I screwed up.
