Hi: I'm retired and enjoy being in the woods, gathering my own firewood. I help a friend maintain his 27 acre woodlot, dropping leaning trees, and keeping the access trails open. I currently have an older Stihl 009 and an Echo CS490. I used the little 009 for pruning trees in my own yard and cutting up smaller dead trees for firewood. The Echo 490 is a little more saw than I need (I'm now 80) and so I'm hoping to learn what chainsaws between these two sizes I should look at. Thanks for listening. -Ed
