New MS880 looks like bad news for modder's

Was the 441 coil ever tried on the 880?

...successfully unlimited?

Not that I know of, the fit looks good but not certain if it will work. I had been PMing someone about it and even if it fits and points line up dosn't mean that the internals will support the 880. I don't understand this but am not questioning it either. I guess someone who has access to a new 880 and a 441 just needs to try it.

I picked up a NOS Stihl coild 1124 400 1303, this must be unlimited? Right? If anyone knows I would like to know, as I have searched and find no info on it.

your coil I believe is limited....its digital (cdic) which are generally limited coils. .1124 400 1303 and 1124 400 1305, were both digital coils...then they were replaced by coil 1124 400 1306 which is said to raise the limited speed to 12,250. what your coil is limited to I do not know.

didn't I hear some where that the MS 362 coil swaps in and is unlimited on 880 's
