You're right, nothing to be excited about.:taped:

The only other "news" that I have noticed is that the 3/8" RS full comp is gone from the line-up, as are the .325 RM...

.....but don't dispair, they are replaced by RSC and RMC which have been with us for some time, and are basically the same chain, but with the low-vibe feature copied from some Oregon models.:)

I have used the RSC for some time on my MS361, and it is a really nice and fast-cutting chain.

230

Geesh pick on the little guy!

Actually, we had an 023 back a few years agao. Snotty little saw. Too close to the 25 to sell well. I really enjoyed using it. Kind of a 21 super.

But, hey, it ain't a BIG saw.

The 230 has been here "all the time" since it replaced the 023, but I don't think they sell many of them, in fact I have never seen an 023 or 230 except in dealers displays.....

The 024 was pretty usual here though, but quite another animal.

OK, I'm sorry for picking on the pee wee, "snotty" eh? I keep wait'en to see that 440 sized machine that is built like a 361:blob2:

Wish they would give us 5 CC gaps in the pro line, more reasons to buy saws.

That won't happen!

The 441 goes one step further, but regrettably that second step is at least partly in the wrong direction (more weight than the 460)....:bang:

Seems to bridge a gap between the 210 and 250 that didn't seem that wide. Unless they can price it considerably lower than the 250, I can see folks steering to that (250). The 230 and 250 share the 10.1 lbs powerhead weight and 16" recommended bar length, but all other stats split 210 and 250 values. I went ahead and inserted the 230 stats in my spreadsheet and it put nary a ripple in the line graph.

Yeah, yawn.
