Hello men,

I just signed up because it's too damned expensive to burn coal anymore. LGB!!

I have a couple of tons left for long cold days but I'll be burning wood mostly this winter. I did the same last winter but we had a mild winter so it was fairly easy.

I picked up a Speeco kinetic the other day and I am doing some light mods to it. I think I'll build a hydraulic too. I made a post in another part of the forum about cylinders so I'll be checking back on that.

So I'm here. I like to ask dumb questions too. 😆

welcome, tons of info on building your own hydro splitter here. helps a lot if you can do the weldments and a few basic fabrication tools. As everyone is crazy for speed, run 3/4" lines and 3/4 ports on cylinder and valve. It's all about how fast you can fill and empty the cylinder. Don't need crazy high tonage, 20 ton works just fine.
