I am going to upgrade from my basic Weaver saddle. I was looking at the Weaver Cougar ( don't want to spend a ton given I'm heading to Afghanistan in August, and I will only be working May, and July, at least until I return ) I ahve heard the floating bridge makes it awesome, thoughts??? It's a price I like too.

i have the glide lite, it almost like the cougar, it a great saddle so lite i forget im wearing it sometimes

I have the cougar and once it broke in and softened up a bit its very comfortable. I put it on before i climb and when im done and just draggin and chipping brush 75% of the time i dont realize im wearing it and will keep it on till its time to leave unless i have to pee and notice im still wearing it then it comes off. I would definatly consider that saddle

I've been climbing with a Cougar since January and like it. Took some time to break in and to adjust the leg straps to get the right feel. Now it's pretty comfortable. The rope bridge is a nice feature since it allows for lateral movement when limb walking. Even removing/replacing the bridge is pretty easy, albeit time consuming. There may be other similar saddles that are slightly more comfortable or have more features but for the price I would recommend it.

My brother just bought the couger. It's been a good saddle. We found the best price a Treeman they are a sponcer here too. I think they are haveing a sale on the 30th of this month check the website. We bought from them in the past and they have been very good.
