new saw?

whelp, i picked up my new saw today and the look on my face must have shown some concern to the dealer. he assured me that even if the design of the saw may have changed, the overall proformance and use has remained the same. i have never bought this brand new before so i guess i will see.

Hey, I have a saw similar to that, only the powerhead is smaller, green and says "Danforth 2300" on it. I'm currently looking for a 4" bar to replace the 16" one that came with it.

Hmmmm, close resemblance to odd numbered Stihls.

That is obviously a Stihl with a Homelite bar. An early model 029 I think
