The 590 surely is a pro quality saw

I have never used an Echo 590, but it is priced below their other saws, so I doubt it is pro quality (Stihl & Husky also make lower priced saws). They have a video of it on their website, looks like cutting a small Ash log. If it took my 362 C-M that long I would not use it any more.
Cause it's heavier, slower and doesn't have the name. Good saw though!OK, I stand corrected. Why is it so much less than the other saws in their lineup? It must not have something?
Yep! I'm addicted to speed and power in the smallest lightest possible package...OK, but a 562 XP or 362 C-M will whip it pretty good also. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Thanks for the information.
I'll do it Mike.Don, If you want to see the project MechanicMatt and I have been working on get out of Chainsaw and go to Milling ... Chainsaw Timber Framing. Let me know your thoughts.
Depends on where ya buy the 562. Mine was around $200 more...The 362 and 562 are also almost twice the price of the 590
