Matt, I can see the nipple sticking out of the tank, but cant's see the nipple on the carb? Do I have to pull the handle to get to it? Does it have a funky preformed line?
Look like a regular piece of fuel line Joe . Not sure what size it is. Yes need to pull the handle/cover. Nipple on the carb is bottom right on carb.

Thanks, Steve. That pic confirms what my small engine buddy just told me. He said he thinks the big nipple was just a vent. Looks like the rest of the lines are in place. If that vent doesn't have anything on it, will that prevent it from drawing fuel from the tank?

Honestly not sure if it isn't there. All of the stihls saws I have with that type of vent have that little grub screw in them and I think it is for letting the air into the tank as you burn fuel. Never really worked on this saw. Belongs to a guy that wanted me to try and get it running but the SEM coil is bad and he didn't want to spend the $. Need any parts? LOL

Maybe. This one came out of the dumpster at the landfill. It will run for a good 10 seconds on a prime, sounds great.
