So one of the 5200's I picked up cheap the other day is missing a the anti-vibe piece on the bottom side of the saw towards the front on clutch side of the saw.
Where the screw is supposed to go into the side to hold the anti-vibe piece in, there is a hole about the size of a nickel, definitely broken away. Is there any way
to fix this without getting a whole side of that crankcase? I'll take a picture and post it tonight when I get home.

I have been working on a 5200 and a few other older saws and I was just wondering if you guys make your gaskets or try to find NOS ones? I have been just making mine by making patters off the old one or the piece it's self. Just thought I would ask some of you that have been doing it for a long time if there is a better way?

I've made most all my gaskets, unless I can find them cheap enough. If I get a new one I make a copy anyway, just to have a good pattern for future

Thanks! So that is really the only way to get it fixed right, replace the whole case? Is it tough to do, never done it before.

Trying to find some midget sized wrist pin "C-clips" for a S25DA project. They're part #5300 15131, and the mangled one that I have left is either 0.033" or 034" wire diameter size. Thanks!

If I have one I will give it to ya. But pretty sure my last ones went out with s25da piston I sent out. Will check.

Finally had my $25 Poulan 245A delivered last night. Thing is in awesome shape. Seller said it had a 16" bar on it but it's a 20" inch which was a nice surprise and it
looks to be the original bar. Even has a Poulan chain on it which may be original too. Needs carb work which I'll hopefully get to this week.

Well my plan of running my 5200 didn't go very well yesterday.
Started and warmed up, set the Lo side and made one cut. Back in for one more and as I was backing out to adjust the High side it burned up.
So now it looks like I in the market to find a piston.
Looks like the jug should be usable. [emoji22]

I can't believe I was that far off on the High side, I put a kit in the carb and reset the needles to where they were before I started. I have never had a saw go that fast. Maybe a air leak?
The worst part from what I can tell is finding a piston is like trying to find a hens tooth.
