Do you know how long I have looked for one of those? And then you go posting it here saying you hope you can get it cheap?
Good luck with that. You should keep it to yourself next time. This ain't the ebay thread either.
Yeah, I was debating whether or not to post it here with all you Poulan nuts lurking. Figured someone would find it sooner or later though. Also read an older thread where you mentioned never laying eyes on a 450. So it is a 450?
If you get it you'll just save me from myself. No need what so ever for another saw. Don't really know why I want another one so bad though.
Don't worry, I had already seen it. I don't think most anyone likes auctions and CL adds posted in the regular brand forums though.
If you want a rare one, go shoot the guy a offer on the Spiegel branded 223 thats listed for the second time. They only made the 223 for 2 years, 68 and 69 so there can only be a few Spiegel branded ones left on the face of the earth. That one is only the second one I have seen. The first one is already in my collection.
The 223 is the early version of the 245A and is 74cc
Cause you got CAD. I warned ya...Don't really know why I want another one so bad though.

On ebay or Trading post? Never heard of Spiegel. Oh man I would LOVE to have a rare chainsaw.
Found it. Kind of cool looking. 125 psi though. I don't know if that's good or bad lol.
not so gyrene. the whelming urge to buy a saw indicates early onset of CAD. its okay though. you could be spending your $$$ and time on worse things. plus, you're never without a runner when you need one.No way dude, I don't have CAD yet. I think you have to own over 5 saws to be officially diagnosed with CAD.
Spiegel and Aldens were both mail order catalog merchants that Poulan provided saws to.

that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I will be getting rid of some of my saws and parts very soon, I need to downsize,

The 92 is sentimental but some Sandcast will go
just for fun, see if you can spot the new looking Sears Craftsman 4.2 (Poulan 4200) in this picture.
