No wonder a 3700 feels noticeably strongerCan't see the difference in the above cylinders but you can in this, red is a 3700 the other is a 3400 or 3800View attachment 642810

Nice work, I have an NOS 330 I've never run, I do have a super pro 380 that runs very nice tho. Actually going to be selling a couple NOS poulans, not the 330 tho.Did a poulan 330 up for a local guys order last night. Opened up inner baffle, put a gill on front cover side for dual port. Took a K095 bar 3/8 050 72dl and elongated the bar tensioner slots for oiling. Also so he could use his 72dl chains from other saw.
Then set a little fat around 12.8K with a 13.8K oem max setting.

Well, those are the schools, I'm a wheelhorse guy. Those pics I took at my shop in our maintenance garage. I refurb all our equipment over the winter, and my stuff sneaks in too! They do a nice job but they are beat to hell. I've brazed radiators and welded cab supports, every storm they make it through is a blessing. Scheduled for replacement soon...allegedly. Maintenance voices always seem to be heard the least around here.I see some Deere in your stable in the background, wished we had one with a cab, all ours are open station. Be nice to have a/c and heat.

I'd buy 3 more if they showed up. Fact is the 330, 3450, 3750, SP380 are elusive around here. 2800, 3000, 3300, 335 saws pop up now and then, I grab those and the craftsman cousinsSold that one and bought 3 more. Never ending circle I cant keep ahead.
If a guy dont come up with soon on this 3750 TA soon with badboy still on the bar it is going to get listed for sale at my site and group.
New owner sent me a pic cutting yesterday with it in downed cherry.

Sweet NOS 306 bow saw, EBay shelf queen
Not mine & not for me, as mine all cut firewood as designed!
Will probably fetch over 4 Benjamins at auction closing time.

Mark & I just had a discussion about this, milk carton works for a little while but what I found to work better is plastic place mat material or the closet organizer plastic from the container store

That way too high, but would be sweet to have that buried in some red oak.He wants $600, he stopped listing last year when it did not get high enough for him

Stephen,
Do you know if anyone has ever made template copies (via a black/white copier) of the inner & outer starter discs for the 4200/5200 series?
I have seen the gaskets on copier paper (thanks MM), but I received a starter with no fiber shims at all, part numbers 5300-42039 & -42041.
Thanks
