Another find. Now this one is more to my liking.
Will be putting the full wrap and set of big dawgs I have on hand on WT505.

I got used to a full wrap on the 385 when I was running it with the 505. Sold the 385 and kept the 505.

NIce. Sold my 505 couple of years ago. Have a 475 but need a brake assembly.

This newest isnt a 505, but another 415 that was used at a fire dept. But it was set under a shelf for a couple years when they got newer saws. Have had 3-4 505 and a 2083 though.
Was just going to put the full wrap from 415 on my wt505.

415 had full wrap, big D-ring handle, half side cover = guessing for not blocking up cutting roofs etc. Wondering if it has a carbide chain or not.

Think I have sold 2-3 of my brake assembly's to folks in the last year on my site and group. Just cant keep it all and started selling off parts to folks that they couldnt get anymore.

Does anyone know the size of the screws for the spike on the 4000? Very much a metric country here so I'll need to order from the hardware shop.

Also wondering if anyone has a picture handy of the side exit on the 4000 muffler. I have the restricted style and am contemplating adding a nice stock looking gill in the side.

10/24 x9/16s. They are hex head

Yea thats what im thinking i mite try im an engineer though so can be done but wood would be easyer. I've cut out my spike just waiting on bolts. Had the muffler off last night the p/c are perfect
You can also use the old method. Cut your slot, then heat it till red. Then using needle nose pliers, or something similar, make your bends.

Decided to start my PP475 after sitting for a year. When I got it the piston was shot and with some recommendations from here I installed a big bore 372 piston. Started right up,to my surprise. However in looking it ove,I’m missing the air filter and a couple screws for the recoil and cylinder cover. Hopefully I can find these items at Parts Tree or Erplacement .

I have NOS and used air filter stuff for 415 475. Just make me a list if interested and PM me. You know where I hang out ;)

Not all in the NOS pic is here now though. But some of it still is.
