Know what you mean, I have a 225 chrome cylinder, just wanting to find a non plated piston then I can make a 2300 run again
I used a walbro kit when I rebuilt mine, had no trouble, when I installed that 3700 top end, didn't even have to adjust it. Will 4stroke perfectly and get down to business in a cut. No rev limiter in carb or coil. You may want to check for an air leak also.

How did you find them with all that yellow.I have at least two large totes of Poulan parts that I might not even get to look at until some time next year... If I remember correctly, there are even a few NOS cylinders for some smaller saws and such.
