I would have liked to see the top cover off, the starter off, the muffler off, and feel it running in my hands before I paid that much money for it. It did look good and a new chain and bar is worth something. PS I bid the first 78.00 on it

I heard that one day in the tractor/ work barn, took me forever to find that noise. Loosen the cap and noise went away, now I pay it no attention.

The 5200 was at 378 or so with 14 minutes to go and the real bidding started, was fun to watch it jump so fast
Looks like he painted it real good, clutch got a good coat but the dirt behind it didn't.

Sunday sometime got a new never gased 3400 on ebay for 300.00. I would have liked to have see it first
Do Ebay auctions auto extend? Our own version of Ebay in nz trade me has an annoying feature where any bid in the last minute adds a minute so you cant sneak a bid with 5 seconds left. When I got my pm800 for rather cheap at 140 there were people offering 300plus in the comments so that last minute was a agonizing wait but no bids came they were all talk in the end. A pm850 went for 320 a month or two later with a 16inch bar haha
No extra time on ebay, you can have a max bid and it will take you to the max and if your max is higher than anything else you win. If you want it bad better have a max bid of 3 times what it's worth cus some one will try and get a jump on you
The seller actually excepted $220 plus shipping for a total of $285 for the NOS 3400

What do you do with a NOS chainsaw, can't run it
Think I would take the covers and starter off and mount them so you can see the inside of the saw and how it looks in there
I'd run it lol. Think the Ebay system better for buyers. Ours mite go on and on with dollar bids every minute
Just cut the saw down the middle so you can also see the working inner parts.
