Dang Gary, where's the little ones at. I've only seen one snake in the yard for over 4 months and that was this week. Kind of black with brown on top with white stripe down it's back. The white stripe would half alternating wide white and narrow white line. Saw one at the church two days ago also. Haven't seen but two other like it now and one was last year. Being it was a 16" long baby, I can't find on line what it was.

One had 14 rattles and a button the other had 15 rattles and a button . They were only about 4 feet long but they were as thick as your wrist . Grown ones !

I took a 3700 and 2 ported 3800 and we cut a little over a cord of wood. Started to rain as we were taking the first load back to the truck. It got so slippery that we had to unload about a third along the way and get it last. We made 3 trips to get it done

Creek on the back side of the farm, mighty low

Well that's no problem. Don't be hating but, my brother uses the bobcat to push the trees while I cut them down with my Echo CS400. After they hit the ground out comes the heavy Poulans and takes care of the rest. I've been in some awkward positions where a heavy saw was just unruly to work with. That's when the light saw comes out. I would drag out the wild thing but it's heavier than the Echo, and that Echo will run circles around it. After the mm and retune, that Echo will go.

The hard part of getting wood for all of us is, what saws do I use

I know that feeling now I can get maybe 6 in the back of the wagon but which 6 hmmmm. After going around them all for 10 mins I apologize to the ones that missed out and promise to take them next time lol.

Never have done any wood gathering with a machine except a spliter but boy it sounds easy. That echo will be a fine little saw I have 2 old ones a 315 and a 500vl and they are well built machine's I think if I ever buy a new saw it will be an echo. That day may never come though unless old stuff is no longer around

Well I've had that Echo for a while, way before this Poulan CAD hit me. Already had three others saws before it, one running and heavy, Pro Mac 605. The other two, both craftsman/Poulan saws 2300 and a 2800 weren't running and needed some parts and work. I haven't burned wood for a few years, got a big wood storage shed that has a few cords in it. I think we have a few tons of Georgia fat wood sitting in two big piles also not counting 4 55gal drums full of split kindling. I think I have about 40lbs sitting in the barn here at the house. Just waiting on the better have one winter to say I can build a FIRE. Love the heat off a heater, lot better than heat from a heat pump.
