If you are changing bearings in a 5200 or so saw 300 degrees is a good temp to use, they just about fall out. If you have the new ones ready you can drop them in, be quick and it works well. I sat them on the oven rack, have clean parts so the Boss doesn't get mad, and just a little tap and out they came, put them back till the oven was back to temp then dropped the new ones in. I sat the bearings in the freezer for 20 minutes, not sure if that helped.

Could you just order those o rings for Steve?

I've been buying some stuff in bulk from them here. For the price of two grommets for fuel lines at a store I can get 50 from them.

I think Steve has it figured now........ but who knows. Those 100+ degree days down there can make your cerebrospinal fluid boil and cook your brain.
