Is the air filter the same as the 5200 as the 8500 ?
I hear that. I am too damn far away from anyone to even think about hosting one. Will never say never, but no plans on this end. It can be expensive, time consuming, and a lot of work, but times change, age , health changes, etc. A date for one was always a challenge too. Fall worked best for me here, but was always the same time everyone else having a GTG was happening too. lol Travel was a big draw back also. Long way to go for some folks, no matter where in the country you have one.
Absolutely. I think the evening before the main GTG is the best part of the whole thing.Best thing about our GTG's was the food, drink, and camaraderie and knowledge of these saws, sitting around a fire in the evening.

Hope there is some aftermarket ones in the works for the lower rubber AV's.
I am down to 1 NOS set and used ones. Pulled this used set today to help a guy out.

2800 2700 3000 3300 etc use the upper left off hand and maybe others (those can still be had NOS).What Poulan saw series were you robbing or working on?

All of that whole series uses the lower right ones x2. 330 etc. ( NLA)
Thanks, never ran into or used the “wood screw” ended type, they must go into plastic.
I knew the little #12-24 machine threaded isos for the 4200/5200 series are NLA.
Those Husky forked iso removal tools are great.
Well unfortunately, that rubber gives out from age, heat, & oil/gas spills.
Polyurethane rod & a lathe may be required to make new isolators in the future for these older saws, like they now make for the degraded & split out rubber sub-frame mounts for my old turbo’d 1969 Camaro.

You still got yours?
Had a 69 65 66 in barn when went down in 2006. Ended up selling instead of going through the body restores again. Roof was going to have to be cut off of 69 to fix where beam creased.
