Just won this unit in an auction. I can find no record of this saw on the Poulan rebrands document. Cutter's Choice is a Canadian owned company out of London, Ontario that operates in the US as Laser Sales. It was formally ZIP Power Parts.
It looks little used and is a 3.7 version of the Poulan line. Looking forward to picking it up later this week to see what it has for a top end.
I can find Micros and a Poulan 2500 rebrand that Poulan made for Cutter's Choice but not this one.

Anyone have any info on it or View attachment 916900has seen one before?View attachment 916899
Thats neat. We have a cutters too in PA. But never seen them label a saw before.

They did have some saws according to the Poulan branded sheet (1995) but they were micro's and a Poulan 2500.

I have no idea if the 2037 3800? model I will have in my hands soon was Canadian only or sold in the US as well.
Interesting addition anyway.
Just seen a corded one under their cutters label too. It was listed in a auction.

Interesting.

Fossil, that's a beautiful example of a Poulan 3700! Great cosmetics, unique private label, well taken care of, and of course that awesome chain brake. I'd imagine it came with a 20 inch bar given the 2037 designation. I say add a spike, a nice bar, and have at it! Good for you, Max.

This did sell after pics and info and already shipped.

So no more of these on hand right now besides the one on the 3.7 that is for sale as whole saw.

Did pick up another 3400 recoil for the pulley so now have 2 usable pulleys extra.
Plus a 3700 topend kit from a saw I decided to part instead of fix.

Old NOS pic of 3 I had. But do have a used full wrap for the 5200 5400 8500 again.

Will update with pics later.

interested in the 5200 fullwrap

Hello Folks, Does anyone have ANY information about Poulan Wizard saws 3400 countervibe and 2000 in the pictures?
Years? Reliability, etc.
I've used Google images and find Nothing, kind of unusual. I got them recently from an older gentleman in CT. who said he needed a limber
and larger saw. Doesn't look like much use to me. They run great after replacing the cracked fuel lines.
Thanks if you can help.

Wow, nice examples to be sure. I've seen Wizards before on AS and Nik's Poulan Thread but never in person. I'll let other "true" experts chime in but I believe they're simply a private label saw similar to what Poulan did with Craftsman, Dayton, Skil, Cutters Choice, and more. Possibly Western Auto as well? Nice 3800 too! Best, nice saws, and congratulations!

As far as reliable there are a couple members who cut firewood for 20+ years with these models with little maintenance.

Well that Poulan Pro 4620 has some piston and cylinder issues. Might be able to clean them up but won't know till I pull it down. My pocket screw drive catches a small line in the third picture, other marks look like staining. Piston definitely has marks in it. It's a PP 4620AVHD.

Poulan 8500 full wrap handle. Has the 8500 grip style. Can be used on the 5200 5400 etc. from what I recall when I had the NOS full wrap ones. Just the type grips used was different between the 3.

Also picked on a 310 handle to hopefully talk the local into fixing the redneck repaired one soon.

Hey Steve,
Let us know if you got that piston and cylinder repaired and functional. It would help with my otherwise terminal PP295.

I tore it down Saturday evening after we go done cutting the back 40. Might be able to clean up the piston. The cylinder will need to polishing after I smooth out a few spots. Found dirt packed in the lower transfers. Looks like air filter had failed letting crud come in. Crank seals still felt tight on the crankshaft and the bearings felt good. May have to get a ring though. May slap it together first and see how it does but if it ain't up to my specs, it will get replaced. Pistons and cylinders aren't cheap for this saw compared to other Poulan clamshell engines.
