Seeing it's a Poulan thread I'll give you the boxed shots.
The 21 is missing the bar and i havn't even opened the MS241 box.
OK, if we are gonna play that way, I'll raise you one.
New in Box, never been opened.

Good question. I only got mine a few years ago - there was a guy on Craigslist who had acquired a pallet of these unopened and I couldn't resist getting one. So for the first 20 years or so, I didn't own it. But that is kind of dodging the question. Currently I'm trying to thin the herd, so starting up another saw isn't a top priority. Guess I might be able to sell it for more than I paid for it, but that wasn't the point of getting it. I love these old high quality made in the USA Poulans and do most of my cutting with countervibes, so I could not resist a chance to get one in new condition.
I still have not answered your question because I really do not know myself.

Sweet!!Hey guys, been quite a while since I’ve been on our posted, I haven’t been doing much with saws recently. Busy with family and other stuff.
But I was able to finally buy my father in laws Canadian version 8500. Love this saw and glad to have it. I haven’t seen any other ones of there anywhere.

That’s part of the Canadian version. They required that extra safety measure from what I’ve learned. That is a good looking saw with a very interesting trigger lock on the handle
