Others know more than me but I got some small husky ones and got them to work real well. All the ones on one of our saws were shot.

+1 on that. I've used them and used the Stihl ones found on 011's, I made a stud for to fit that on my 4000. Because I had several left over from the 011 projects, and you still can find these NOS, thats why. Dolmar also has one that might work, they use them on the 6400-7900 frame, I believe.

I received this micro S25CVA today that we've questioned what the displacement would be. As best as I can measure, the bore is 1.435". Do they all have a 1.3125" stroke? If so, this one is 2.1ci, or 34cc.

Brad, I'm not sure, I'll look through my stuff though to see if I can find out.

Sounds to me like you got a 2.0 saw like I suspected.

It's also an all mag saw. I was expecting the micro to have a lot of plastic.

I have a Craftsman 358.355061 seems to be mostly mag. Just the handle/carb box are plastic. I get the impression it is a 38cc saw. Sadly the compression is only 110psi. I is an AV type

The other Craftsman 358.3550162 is mostly plastic (housing). It has 150 psi compression. The oil tank leaks like a seive. and has lots or crank endplay. This one is ridgid handle.

Is there a gasket or just sealer used between the crank housing halves??

Finally found a Spur for my old 2075. When the temperature gets above freezing, I'll see to changing them out.

This is the only one I could find, and the last one they had.

The top IPL is your saw. The bottom is I think the Poulan (manufacturer) equivalent.
Low compression Is a bad piston (NLA Craftsman & Poulan) cylinder or rings. Rings are available.

The model number you supplied for the second is in error.

My best guess is 358.355162 and is an 1800 or 2000 Poulan. If I read the picture correctly the oil tank is one complete piece. The oil pump on these grand old ladies is impulse driven and also NLA. I would suspect a bad pump. You might try a new gasket(s) (Be kind to the oil pump).

I believe the equivelant Craftsman to the Poulan 2300AV is 358.353671(2.3-38cc)

Pp 375

Well, Here is my latest project. A Poulan Pro 375. Really in pretty nice shape. Was pretty gunked up. Took every thing apart, cleaned it up. Put new fuel lines, filter, plug etc. The thing that is causing me some grief is the carb.

This one has a Zama C3A , instead of a Walbro HDB that I'm used to. Needless to say, I didn't have a kit, so I took it apart and tried to clean it, was full of crap, and put it back together. The saw would not start. Put a little in the carb, and it fired right off. So I need to get a kit for it. But, I can't seem to find the right one.:dizzy:

The C3A, is the only number I can find on it. There are about a dozen different Zama C3A carbs. I see midsize Stihl's use a Zama. Any of you Poulan experts know what kit I need to getting? I thought maybe I would just pull a Walbro off of another saw and try that, if I can't get a kit for this one.
