I hear you guys. I got my Toro finished up yesterday. But the fiancee is supposed to be flying home from FLA tomm. and landing in Logan airport at 2. If the flight doesn't get canceled. But we got gas in the truck and plenty of wood and if the ice brings some trees down...:good:
So does that 395 exist or what?

I Think the 375 Is The Poulan Pro Version Of A 3700
And The 395 Is The Poulan Pro Version Of A 4000

I believe your correct Bo. Not much info out on these, I need to study more of what I have. Like I said there is a PP385 out there as well with the same displacement of the 395, both 65cc.

He's all healed up and fitted with a more appropiate 14" bar, thanks to Mark.

Have to wait on the weather for test cutting.

I wondered if that had arrived yet, sorry I was pretty sick or I would have sharpend the chains.

That cover the right one?

Haha We'll see! I have had dealings with this guy before and to be honest I dont really like him! He tried lo-balling me on a saw before and I told him to go pound sand! And he "doesnt care for Poulans". Hes a saw snob. But he likes Huskys and I have had that 61 on the shelf for a while after a fresh rebuild. So Ill take that 395 or 385 of his "too good for Poulans" hands! It wont be till after we get slammed with this snow tho. But When I take possession, You know it will be posted here first

Well a 61 is a nice saw but not hard to find if you ever want another. I would make that trade any day of the week if the Poulan is in decent shape.

i agree. The 61 is a nice saw and in good shape too. He said the saw runs good so hopefully its not too beaten up. Ill tell you this. If Kristy's flight gets canceled Im making the trip out there. Im even gonna put the 61 in the truck so I dont have to stop at home to get it.

That video right there made me want a 245 before I had one.

This one here is the perfect work saw. Someone did bad work and tried to paint it orange. Now the saw is 2-tone, being that they didn't prep for paint very well. I like to call it my Poulan/Dayton hybrid.

Doesn't really have any more weight that the 306, but a bit more power to say the least.

Chris

What are the bore stroke dims compared to the 306? Sounds like a bad boy :good: :good:

That sounds right. Kinda strange that Poulan would do that since the 3700 and 4000 were in fact pro saws. maybe it was a marketing thing?

I Looked Up The IPL On Poulan's Site And The PP395 & The 4000 Have
The Same Cylinder Part Number. I Think When PP375 Was Out, The
Green 3700 Had Been Discontinued. When We Sold Poulan Pro Saws
In The Early 90's I Don't Think We Could Get Green 3700's.
Poulan Pro Was Coming Out With The PP365, But The Rep Said
They Were Still Making The PP375 Because That Design Was So
Popular & They Couldn't Kill It Off.

whats snow???? sitting in shorts sippin last ice cold  beer for the night!

Haha, lucky you, we got a snowy icy sloppy mess heading this way tonite, ontop of the other 60" of snow we already got this year. I'm ready for spring and some fresh wood to sink some of these winter projects into........Oh I also have a keg of Budweiser on tap so the beer is flowin..

Poulan-Pro 395

Has anyone heard of it? Is this guy reading the saw wrong? Or am I a fool among the Poulan community! Acres lists no such saw. I am going to trade one of my creamsacles for it so any info would be appreciated:good:

it's a real saw! I only sold a few of them, it was a short lived model, it was a Poulan-Pro version of a 4000 basically, with a chain brake. the weird part was they were assembled in the Great White North! This was done as we were told at service school, because all the big CC pro saws were being built in one location. This was not long after the pioneer purchase.

Mark, Nik, Gregg, how y'all making out with the weather? Just pour another whiskey and put another log on the fire and everything will be alright.

Thanks for asking! I have been busy all day.

Snow and wind is hitting pretty hard here, I just came in from plowing my drive and the dead end road I live on. Blowing back in about as fast as you plow it out, but just trying to stay ahead of it.

Got the stove in the shop going, beer and whisky as well, but I'm just starting to feel better from being sick so I think I'll stay on the wagon a little longer. :snicker:

I might get some time to work on some projects tomorrow. I won't plow much till this is over which may not be till tomorrow night.

I heard from Mike, they just got rain in his part of KY.
